2nd week

    Today I learn new things in resources class.
I learn about fast typing on how to type without looking at the keyboard
and learn the skills to place fingers on the keyboard also how to use all the 10 fingers while typing.

    It is a bit difficult as I only can type fast when I look at the keyboard
or just type without looking at the screen.
Even so, this is my new experience as I just gain new knowledge about this course.

    Talking about the lecturer, Madam Foziah is really really good in this typing thing
and she told us that she took typing class.
Wow, that would be quite tense to me if I had to stay longer time in front of the computer
and just learn typing all the day. Reason ??? Haha, because I will get back pain...

    She did give us a copy of the software on how to type real fast with no errors.
And for sure, she is not just give to be kept in the desktop, but this is a work to be practice over and over again.
A new experiences for me….make it useful….use it wisely….

    Well, this week, we get a book entitle Preparing and Using Visual Aids for English Language Teaching> 2nd edition. 
And you know what, I love this book as it is not just a word by itself but
it full with aesthetic pictures that would stimulate the reader to understand the content better.

1st WeeK...

 This week is an introduction week to the course;
Using and Developing Resources for the ESL classroom.
All the 75 students enter the MK2 room and we get to know our lecturer for this course.
She is Madam Foziah, and a woman for sure! 


In my perspective, I know that she is a charming person, well, I can see from her physical look (it is true!!)
and she is like my mum, a teacher with glasses and has fresh look.
During the class, she shared a little bit about her experience teaching in Kelantan (I remember this because I am Kelantanese??)
in which she had a great time teaching there.


She also did a little bit of ice breaking as she tried to get know about where do we come from and
I still remember that she had asked the Kelantanese to hands up three times as she wanted to know how many Kelantanese in her class.


I definitely felt curious but I am lazy to ask..hehe.
But for sure, I think that she loves to chat with her students.
She also asked us to create a blog and write our weekly reflections throughout the semester.


Wow…throughout the semester…would be so important??? Well, it is!!!
It is part of our assignment that needs to be completed at the end of the semester.
Well, same goes with the technology course,
she expects us to be professional within these weeks until the time to end this semester…phew…sweat all over…
and not to forget, as usual, when start of new semester, what do we expect???


Mmm…..a lot of assignments?? Wrong!…The 1st ranking that will always be the first is…..
MONEY!!! Yes, money!!!
And you know what, for the very first day, she asks to buy the 8gig pen drive that would cost RM 44!!
Wow…usually at the maktab, we would be asked to buy book, but here,
it is not only the book that we have to pay for, but also this new gadget…


Well, you know, this thing must be something important to this course-
it is to keep all those projects that we are going to do for the whole semester.
Another thing she asks us to do is to download Adobe Photoshop CS3 and this is for photo editing skills if you want to know.


Alright, done on my 1st reflection…I hope it is not so bad for the first week.
But I am looking forward to second class…because, she is very unpredictable,
I guess. And I like surprise that is waiting for me…
